Backup Management

The backup is a crucial file that allows you to restart the competition in case of a system crash. It also serves as a platform to add initial weights and 1st attempts for athletes in other sessions. Follow these guidelines for effective backup usage:

  1. Load Previous Option: Use this option to continue the competition from a backup or edited version.

  2. Terminating a Session: Before using the load previous option, terminate the session to ensure a clean transition.

  3. Editing in Backup: When using the backup, only edit the following columns: Weight, Rack, 1st Attempt, and nothing else.

  4. Main Backup File: The primary backup file is named "GroupData - Complete - Backup.csv."

  5. Backup Sub-Copies:

    1. Sub-copies are based on each move and the data, such as "GroupData - Complete - Backup - [Move] - [Session X] - [Date].csv."

    2. Track and go back to any point in time by copying the exact data into the "GroupData - Complete - Backup.csv" file.

Utilize the backup system effectively to ensure the reliability and continuity of the competition, allowing for seamless recovery and tracking of competition data.
