# Judge Mode

To access the Judge mode, an access key must be inserted, which is provided by the Operator from the [Judge Control](/tutorial/tier-3-judge-control.md) UI.

### Connect Screen

1. Users can only connect to the ProLifter App, following the hardcoded system and security protocols.
2. To establish a connection, Users need to input:
   1. A Port Number (provided by the operator)
   2. A Pin Code (provided by the operator)
   3. A judge's name is required to designate the devices
3. If the connecting judge is also the main judge, they should toggle the "Main Judge" button in order to have control over the timer.
4. Once the above steps are completed, Users can proceed to search for and connect to the ProLifter App.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.prolifter.app/tutorial/mobile-app/judge-mode.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
